Balby Carr Football academy has continued to grow from strength to strength. They are currently:

•    ECFA Regional Champions 2011
•    South Yorkshire Schools Cup winners 2011
•    Doncaster Schools Cup Winners 2011
•    The Coalfields Generation Trust Home Internationals Winners 2010 &2011

This Season sees the First XI competing in the ECFA Premier League 3 with the Second XI playing in the BCS NCFL Group 4.

Academy Football Development Officer Daral Pugh states ‘Balby Carr Academy of Sport continues to lead the way in combining Education Study with an outstanding football Development Programme tailored for the needs of the individual. It has been a culmination of several hard years  work of bidding, developing and creating an exceptional Football Facility for the use of the Sports College and Wider Community.’

The Centre comprises a state of the art changing facility with individual changing rooms, showers, physio room and reception.

The Football Pitch is a third generation rubber crumb Astroturf of the finest quality. The Pitch has two large portable goals for full size games, and six smaller six foot portable goals for small sided games.
